London to Athens to Naxos

I finished and submitted the third book in the Sleuthing with Mortals series before I left on my painting trip to Naxos. I stayed with my nephew and his family in England, which is always a delight, before heading to Greece. Athens offered many opportunities to visit the ancient world, although I only had a couple of days to do so. The Parthenon—awe inspiring—and high enough that I was grateful for the little cable car that cuts out a lot of the slogging uphill! How the ancients hauled all that stone up there is a mystery.

My Sleuthing with Mortals series is well on its way. The Turkish Connection is doing well, and I have received many compliments about its travels through different eras and worlds, its occasional reflective moments, and its humor. How I love to turn mythology on its head! The audio book is almost complete.

Number two book, The Witch of Tut is rolling through the process and is available for preorder. It will launch on December 1. The third book in the series, The Knight, the Gnome, and the Fox is awaiting the attention of my marvelous editor.
